Worms or Hedgewars?

I personally have never played Worms but in Hedgewars and on the official forum I have heard a lot about it. So what is better Worms or Hedgewars? Which weapons are better? Which one has better computer players? Which one  has more schemes that are more personalized to each different player? And over all which one is easier and more fun to use?
One big difference I know of is the price, Hedgewars is free while Worms is not.
