What is your opinions on Hedgewars? What schemes and weapons do you like best? In your opinion is random mode just luck or the skill of being versatile with your weapons?

And well, I think it's a nice combination of skill and luck... and it's always refreshing to play since you never know what's gonna happen lol
Probably one of the reasons it became way more popular then expected.
I enjoy all schemes, except crazy maybe, that one bores me usually, since it totally lacks balance and purpose, heh. (btw, it's missing in your poll on the front page, crazy mode, that is)

I am addicted to Hedgewars! Though my girlfriend hates it, she'd be addicted if she would only give it a try! I've just been too busy for even a quick game recently.
I like King Mode and Barrel Mayhem Mode. I'm allllways down for Default Mode... what gets me is Sudden Death... I have a "slow/mild sudden death" version of each mode saved. Long/epic games can really come down to chance/luck once Sudden Death kicks in.
Any game is a good game and I especially like playing with Da Dominator, who I affectionately refer to as "Double D" because of course Hedgewars is only big enough for one Double D. :D
Don't play with JstKeepBreathng, NJU or Combz. Combz is the only person I've met while playing Hedgewars that I literally want to punch in the face. NJU pisses me off because he ONLY hosts games (won't join, from what I've seen) and starts games with 4-5 players and then deletes the room/quits when he's out/eliminated (which is usually fairly quickly)! If Da Dominator were an animal, he would be a flying, water-breathing unicorn that could spit lightning bolts and drive a tank.
